Music Ministry
The First UCC choir meets every Wednesday evening at 7:30pm for about an hour or so. They sing every Sunday morning throughout the “school year” and once in the summer for our Anniversary Sunday. They also participate in special services such as Christmas Eve, Ash Wednesday and Maundy Thursday. You do not have to read music to join but you love to sing and be able to commit to many of the rehearsals and Sundays throughout the year. We also accept special members who only want to sing for Christmas or for Easter. Join us!
Faith Formation
Two Sunday morning classes meet for children 3-years-old through 6th grade. Children begin with worship in the sanctuary and go to class following the Children's Message. We are using "Grow, Proclaim & Serve" large group/small group curriculum from Cokesbury with our team of talented, veteran, leaders. The Nursery is open each Sunday and staffed as need arises. Confirmation for Jr. high aged youth meets Sundays 11:45AM - 12:45PM to prepare them to take on their own faith journey and become adult members of our church family.
